Who we are

The Back Seat Drivers is a nostalgia dragster and altered no breakout-personal index drag racing club!

Our racing members are based in the Northeast United States, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Maine and New York. All you need to join our racing club is a slingshot dragster or altered with zoomie headers* (individual pipes, no collector headers), a passion for nostalgia racing, and $100 annual membership. Races are conducted in the competition eliminator style, with a full tree and no breakouts against a personal index, which is your quickest run with the club that season.
